Gade Pramod Reddy is a distinguished contemporary artist based in Hyderabad, Telangana, known for his expressive mural paintings and significant contributions to the Indian art landscape. Born in 1970 in Thoompally, he pursued his passion for art through formal education, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Painting) from J.N.T.U College of Fine Arts, Hyderabad, in 1994, followed by a Master of Fine Arts (Mural Painting) from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University, Baroda, in 1997. His academic background laid a strong foundation for his exploration of traditional and modern techniques in visual arts, particularly in mural and fresco painting.

Pramod Reddy has showcased his work in several solo exhibitions, beginning with his first show in 1993 at Kalabhavan, Hyderabad. His later solo exhibitions at prominent venues such as Daira Art Gallery and Alankritha Art Gallery in Hyderabad have received wide appreciation for their depth, color balance, and thematic resonance. His artistic journey spans over three decades, with exhibitions continuing through 2025, reflecting his consistent engagement with the evolving art scene.

In addition to solo showcases, he has participated in numerous group exhibitions across India, including at renowned spaces like Lakshana Art Gallery (Chennai), TAO and Cymroza Art Galleries (Mumbai), and the State Art Gallery (Hyderabad). His participation in international platforms, including the Marlborough Art Society in New Zealand and Indo-Nepal art collaborations, highlights his growing global recognition. These exhibitions demonstrate his versatility and commitment to engaging with both national and international audiences.

Reddy’s creative journey also includes active participation in art camps and community projects, contributing to the preservation and evolution of mural traditions. He has been part of initiatives such as the World Telugu Conference (2018), Kala Kumbh in Chandigarh (2022), and camps organized by institutions like JNTU College of Fine Arts and the Lalitha Kala Academy. Throughout his career, he has received recognition for his contributions to art, including awards from the Hyderabad Art Society (1995–96) and the Quality Circle Forum of India (2006–07).
