Harsh is a visionary artist whose practice is rooted in transformation, energy, and lived experience, using painting as a medium to create encounters rather than images. His large-scale works, tapestries, and immersive environments invite viewers to step into colour, texture, and form, encouraging inner shifts that linger long after they leave the space.
Working with a diverse language of materials, Harsh often combines soft pastels, acrylics, charcoal, threads, oil pastels, watercolours, gesso, spray paint, and markers within a single work, creating layered, living surfaces. Each medium carries its own voice, and together they build atmospheres that feel rich, charged, and complete, reflecting his belief that colour and texture can transform consciousness.
With over a decade of art-making and three intensive years of fine arts study, Harsh has steadily expanded his practice into more ambitious projects and deeper conceptual explorations. He also works as artist assistant to Stuart Semple, a role that has broadened his understanding of international art contexts while anchoring him more firmly in his own vision.
Harsh’s journey into spiritual realism began during a period of frustration in his career, when meditation opened a profound sense of connection and purpose. Translating Indian spiritual stories, archetypes, and energies onto canvas, he seeks to create contemporary yet timeless works that allow viewers to feel the presence of something larger than themselves.
