Monica Ghule is a Mumbai-based contemporary artist whose practice centers on painting. She holds an M.F.A. from Nagpur University, graduating first in her class, along with a G.D. Art and a Diploma in Art Education. Her work has been showcased in solo exhibitions at venues such as India Art Festival, Jehangir Art Gallery, and Vesvar Art Gallery, alongside group exhibitions in India and internationally, including Norway. She is a recipient of the 2023 Bendre-Hussain Scholarship from the Bombay Art Society, along with multiple recognitions from leading art institutions.
Her paintings are known for their vibrant, dream-like quality, often reflecting themes of childhood, memory, and nostalgia. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, she blends abstraction and symbolism to create emotionally layered narratives. Through delicate motifs and thoughtful compositions, her work invites viewers to pause, reconnect with the past, and rediscover the beauty in life’s simplest moments.
